Locations for your shoot
Budapest has many beautiful places for a photoshoot. Below are a few of my favourites. If you haven’t chosen a place yet, I’ll help you find a location that suits your style and wishes.
Parliament & the Danube bank
Classic Budapest with a view of the Parliament: the riverside, the steps and beautiful architecture all around. Especially lovely at sunset.
Buda Castle & Fisherman’s Bastion
Light stone architecture, arches and a panorama of the whole of Budapest. The light here is best at sunrise, so be ready for an early photoshoot.
City Park & Vajdahunyad Castle
A green park, a lake and Vajdahunyad Castle. A spacious location where a walk, architecture and natural family moments come together.
Margaret Island
Quiet paths and wide green lawns in the middle of the Danube. A good choice for a calm, walking-style shoot.
Cosy cafés and streets
Cafés, pretty streets and everyday moments of city life. A relaxed shoot that doesn’t feel like a photoshoot.
A photo studio
A comfortable option in any weather. I’ll find a studio that suits your style and book it for you. Studio hire is paid separately and in advance: about 10,000–20,000 Ft per hour.
Not sure where yet?
Tell me what you’d like and I’ll choose a location that suits the season, the light and the kind of shoot.
Frequently asked questions
When is the best time for a maternity photoshoot?
It’s individual. Most important is that you feel well and have enough energy for the shoot. The most comfortable time is usually weeks 28–34, when the bump already shows nicely but walking and moving are still easy. If you’d like the shoot earlier or later, that’s possible too. Above all, go by how you feel.
Can my partner and children join?
Yes, of course. Your partner and children can be part of the whole photoshoot or just part of it, whatever feels more comfortable. For example, we can start with a few frames of just you and then your family joins.
What should I wear for the photoshoot?
Ideally something you feel comfortable in that shows your figure and bump: fitted knitwear, a light dress, an open coat over a top. Before the shoot you can send me photos of the clothes you plan to bring, and I’ll help you put the outfits together. If something is missing, I can also offer basic pieces from my own wardrobe.
I don’t know how to pose. What should I do?
That’s probably one of the things I hear most often from clients. The women who come to me aren’t professional models but ordinary women, often being photographed for the first time. So you don’t need to know how to stand or where to look. I guide you through the whole shoot, help you find flattering angles and poses, and adapt everything to you. If you need to stop, rest or change something, we simply pause and agree as we go.
How do I pay for the photoshoot?
Nothing is paid when you book. You pay on the day of the shoot. One hour costs $100 or 35,000 Ft. You can pay in cash or by card in the matching currency.
What if I need to cancel or move the shoot?
If you realise you can’t come or want to change the date, just message me as soon as you can and we’ll work out the best option together. If bad weather means an outdoor shoot is better moved, we’ll agree on another date too.
